Early Childhood Education Breakfast & Tour, RSVP Required

Community Connections for Children and York County Economic Alliance are pleased to invite you to the Early Childhood Education Spotlight Breakfast on Tuesday, November 19, from 8am to 9:15am at The Yorktowne Hotel (48 E Market St, York)

During the breakfast presentation, you’ll hear from top community leaders along with national leaders, Swati Adarkar, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education and Ralph Smith, the Managing Director at Campaign for Grade Level Reading.

You’re welcome to accompany us on a bus tour of early childhood education providers who received ECHO grant funding directly following the breakfast. We will feature four providers; the final stop will include a hard hat tour of Werner Early Learning Childcare Center. The agenda is attached, along with estimated times and addresses. Please wear closed toe shoes appropriate for a construction site.

The tour is an opportunity to come together to experience high quality early learning programs right here in York County. You’ll meet and hear directly from early learning educators, program directors, and business owners.

Please respond with your plans to attend as breakfast only, tour only, or breakfast and tour by Monday, November 11.

If you join the tour, a Rabbittransit bus will pick you up directly following breakfast from the lobby of The Yorktowne Hotel and drop you back off at the tour’s conclusion.

Event parking is available in the Market Street Garage, located at 41 E Market St (directly across from the hotel; more info here).
