Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) today announced the hiring of Cynthia Helms as controller to aid in the management of financial strategy and accounting operations. Helms brings over 20 years of financial leadership expertise in real estate and fund accounting to support IREGC’s growth.

In this role, Helms will streamline back-office operations, lead a team of six accounting professionals and enhance analytical frameworks, all in an effort to guide data-driven business decisions. Her proven track record in generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP) compliance, process automation and cross-functional collaboration will bolster IREGC’s ability to scale sustainably.

Prior to joining IREGC, she has held multiple senior-level positions at several companies. Helms is well-versed in optimized financial reporting, automated cash distribution processes and leading system upgrades for commercial real estate funds.
