White Rose Leadership Institute to Open New Offices at Marketview Arts

The White Rose Leadership Institute (WRLI) will open its new offices on June 1 at

Marketview Arts in downtown York, occupying the space formerly known as The Shop. This

move marks a significant collaboration between WRLI and York College of Pennsylvania,

reinforcing the College’s commitment to civic engagement through its Center for Community

Engagement (CCE).

The relocation places WRLI at the heart of the city’s creative and entrepreneurial hub, enabling

the organization to expand its visibility, host trainings, connect with community partners, and

continue its mission of supporting York County’s nonprofit sector.

“This move represents an exciting new chapter for WRLI, ” said Lisa Barshinger, Executive

Director of the White Rose Leadership Institute.

“We’re thrilled to be at Marketview Arts, where we can strengthen our presence in the community and deepen our impact. This new space will allow us to better support nonprofit leaders, foster collaboration, and continue building a thriving,

connected York County. ”

The partnership between WRLI and York College is a natural extension of the College’s ongoing

efforts to invest in downtown York and provide opportunities for meaningful civic engagement.

“We are excited to welcome White Rose Leadership Institute to Marketview Arts,

” said Carly

Legg-Wood, Interim Executive Director of York College’s Center for Community Engagement.

“WRLI’s presence here not only enriches the creative and collaborative spirit of this space, but

also aligns with our mission to support organizations that are making a measurable difference in

the community.

The White Rose Leadership Institute is known for initiatives that drive lasting local change,
